Frank Ski Replacing Michael Baisden On The Radio In Washington D.C!!!! -- Nationally-syndicated radio show host Michael Baisden being locked out of the Cumulus radio offices was a brutal and unceremonious dismissal if there ever was one. But is someone waiting in the wings who also recently stepped away from his radio rule due to negotiation squabbles?

According to recent reports, yes. Baisden’s ouster leaves an opening for radio connoisseur Frank Ski, who ruled over the Atlanta airwaves in the morning for over 14 years before leaving V-103 in December, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Frank Ski left radio, albeit temporarily, because CBS couldn’t or wouldn’t give him the syndication he so much desired. He is now shopping a syndicated show and refused to comment on his near or distant future plans.

Radio One Atlanta boss Davies assured all that a contingency plan is in place, but he also declined to divulge any clues.

The timing of Baisden’s departure is indeed curious. Just last year, Baisden led the R&B station Majic to the No. 2 place in its time slot behind V-103 and gave them the highest share (7.7) they’ve ever had. The year before, the share was 5.4, so that is a significant increase.

He is credited with two monumental milestones in recent years: galvanizing the nation behind the Jena 6 rally in Louisiana and for the work he did to help then-Sen.

Barack Obama get elected president, for which Baisden received a personal phone call of thanks from the current commander-in chief. Baisden who left radio for similar reasons as Frank Ski.

Sheree Whitfield Says She Is Very Unhappy With The Way She Was Portrayal On “Iyanla Fix My Life” -- Sheree Whitfield along with her ex-husband Bob Whitfield appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life. In a move similar to DMX’s camp, Sheree’s publicist issued a statement saying she wasn’t at all pleased with her appearance on the show. Reality TV star Sheree’ Whitfield’s participation in the recent episode of OWN’s ‘Iyanla Fix my Life’ was not at all what she expected. In like fashion to what rapper DMX experienced on his taping of the show, Sheree’ feels that she too was wooed under false pretenses.

She agreed to be on the show based on the understanding that Iyanla would be addressing and helping her and her ex-husband Bob Whitfield, deal with co-parenting issues; unfortunately during the shoot, it was clear that what she was told would be the focus of the show was not.

“Since leaving the Housewives, I’ve been at a different place in my life, a place of healing and self-empowerment, so when Bob reached out to me about doing this show on co-parenting I was excited because I thought we were both on the same page and equally wanted to work towards mending our

relationship so that we could more effectively co-parent, and even more importantly I thought it was an opportunity to inspire single parents in our situation,” says Sheree’ Whitfield. “However, once shooting began I felt misled because the line of questioning was centered more on accusations of my shortcomings as a wife versus how we can begin to resolve our issues.”

WTF....Russian Mobster Charged In The Murder Of Rapper Lil Phat At Atlanta Hospital In A Ordered Shooting?? -- Channel 2 Action News has confirmed that three of four suspects in the high-profile murder of hip-hop artist Lil Phat are now in custody. Among the accused is convicted Russian mobster Mani Chulpayev, whom Channel 2 consumer investigator Jim Strickland exposed in a Channel 2 investigation focusing on Chulpayev's Atlanta car business.

Authorities said Lil Phat was involved in one of those deals. "I termed it an assassination," District Attorney Paul Howard told Strickland about the killing. The shooting happened June 7, 2012, in a parking ramp at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.

Howard says Lil Phat, born Melvin Vernell III, was there and about to become a father. He was sitting in an Audi A7 when he was shot repeatedly.Howard said Lil Phat got the car from Chulpayev and that Chulpayev used a GPS tracker to locate the victim.

Chulpayev is accused of ordering a contract killing, using two gunmen from Alabama. 'He was stalked by these two hit men. It was planned," Howard said.

Howard said Lil Phat had told police only two days earlier Chulpayev had also leased him a BMW that had been reported stolen. Lil Phat was pulled over for speeding in April and was subsequently charged with receiving a stolen car.

Howard said silencing the rapper was at least part of the motive.

"Mani had nothing against this kid and grieved when he found out he was killed," defense attorney George Plumides told Strickland.

Plumides represented Lil Phat on the stolen car charge. Plumides said Chulpayev has an alibi and questions why officers armed with machine guns swarmed to make the arrest.

An investigative crew from ABC News that has teamed with Strickland for months to follow the story was watching as police wisked Chulpayev away in a SWAT vehicle during his arrest April 12 in Broward County, Fla.

"They put him out of business, and they got nothing," insisted Plumides.

"If it had not been for your story, some of the evidence that we've located might not have been located within the same reasonable period," Howard told Strickland.

Chulpayev's attorney said he'll waive extradition and be transported soon to face charges in Atlanta.
