Rick Ross Upset With Reebok For Not Giving Him a Second Chance, The Bawse Will Lose Between $3.5 Million and $5 Million!! -- Rick Ross is crestfallen over losing his Reebok deal because of that date rape song ... but he's also bitter because he believes the shoe company owed him a second chance. Sources close to the rapper say Ross will lose between $3.5 million and $5 million ... he was getting a check each time he wore the shoes.

Reebok dumped Ross for releasing the song U.O.E.N.O., which includes the lyric: "Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain't even know it."

Ross issued a tepid apology ... suggesting the lyrics were actually misinterpreted. He also pulled the song -- which was only on a mixtape.

But that wasn't enough for Reebok, which was taking heat from women's groups for keeping Ross in its stable of spokespeople. Ross is telling people he was entitled to corporate forgiveness because he did so much for the brand ... bringing classic Reeboks back in style in the hip-hop community.

But Reebok was unmoved, saying, "We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse."

In other words ... too little, too late, Rick.

Rocko Removed "Rick Ross" Rape Verse Off The Song "U.O.E.N.O." Because of Women Right Protests And Radio Air Play!! -- Atlanta rapper Rocko is officially removing his homie Rick Ross off his street anthem "U.O.E.N.O." After Rick Ross' allusion to date rape was recognized, he received backlash from women and men around the country.

Rocko, who has been quiet throughout the whole ordeal, finally spoke out and called Hot 97 to clear the air. During his interview, Rocko revealed that he made the executive decision to remove Rick Ross from the record and replace him with another currently unknown artist.

The "Umma Do Me" rapper stated: “Because of the type of traction that the record has as far as radio, it puts me in a position where I have to change it.

At the present moment, I have like six different verses from all types of different, talented artists, some multi-platinum. Some might have even have bigger accomplishments like Grammys and things of that nature.”

Although Rocko stands by Rick Ross' creative right to rap about anything he wants, he made the politically correct move and removed him from the track.

Unlike rappers Meek Mill and Tyga, Rocko didn't try to justify Rick Ross' lyric, but he did mention he had no idea it would be an issue, due to similar rap lyrics from highly respected artists like Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac.

Is Reebok Next?? --- OTTAWA — The cancellation of his Ottawa show may be the least of Rick Ross’ problems now that a New York-based women’s group is pressuring footwear maker Reebok to drop the American rapper over controversial lyrics that glorify date rape.

The 37-year-old Florida rapper was supposed to roll into the capital city on Tuesday for a concert at the Ernst & Young Centre, but “security concerns” prompted the show’s promoter, Urban Jamz Ent., to pull the plug on Friday.

Tickets had ranged in price from $20 for students to $500 for VIP access. It remains unclear how much the rapper, who escaped unharmed from a drive-by shooting in January, stands to earn even though the show has been cancelled and full refunds are being issued.

Ross’ scheduled appearance created a storm of controversy on campus as many reacted strongly to what they saw as the promotion of rape culture.

According to an official release from the NYPD, members from Air It Out, True Money, Whoaday, and the Trillas took to social media to elaborate on their gang related activities by posting lyrics from Ross and Meek Mill.

"God forgives I don't….somebody gotta' die," one member wrote on Facebook. Another AIO member referenced Meek, writing "I'm 2 Glocks strapped, rolling down 112th Madison, 116th is the New Iraq."

The gang members are accused of three murders, over 30 shootings, assaults, gun use and trafficking. Authorities have been trying to charge them since 2009.

"Today's indictments chronicle a bloody gang war that claimed the lives of at least three teenagers, led to the shooting of dozens of individuals and put bounties on people's heads," said Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance. Today’s cases are a part of my Office’s ongoing efforts, working with the NYPD, to strategically target areas that claim a highly disproportionate share of violence in Manhattan.”
