Bobby Brown Turns Himself Into Los Angeles Police To Begin 55-Day Jail Sentence For An October DUI Arrest!! - Bobby Brown will spend the next two months in lock-up. The New Edition star turned himself in to authorities in Los Angeles today to begin serving his 55-day sentence for an October DUI arrest, TMZ reports.
It was Brown's third DUI conviction. The R&B singer has also been ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol treatment program and will be on probation for four years.
Bobby isn't the only member of the Brown family to have trouble with vehicles and law enforcement. The singer's brother Tommy Brown was arrested on March 1 for driving with a suspended license. And his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was involved in a car crash last November, but police determined that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in that wreck.
